ٱلْعَصْر
The Time
وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ
Wal 'asr
By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),
إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ
Innal insaana lafee khusr
Verily Man is in loss,
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ
Illal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati wa tawaasaw bilhaqqi wa tawaasaw bissabr
Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.
Surah Al-'Asr is the 103rd surah of the Quran with 3 verses. It is a Meccan surah. Below is the full text in Arabic with English translation by Yusuf Ali.
وَٱلۡعَصۡرِTransliteration: Wal 'asr
Translation (Yusuf Ali): By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),
إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍTransliteration: Innal insaana lafee khusr
Translation (Yusuf Ali): Verily Man is in loss,
