قُرَيْش
Quraish
لِإِيلَٰفِ قُرَيۡشٍ
Li-eelaafi quraish
For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish,
إِۦلَٰفِهِمۡ رِحۡلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيۡفِ
Eelaafihim rihlatash shitaaa'i wassaif
Their covenants (covering) journeys by winter and summer,-
فَلۡيَعۡبُدُواْ رَبَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡبَيۡتِ
Faly'abudoo rabba haazal-bait
Let them adore the Lord of this House,
ٱلَّذِيٓ أَطۡعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٖ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنۡ خَوۡفِۭ
Allazeee at'amahum min joo'inw-wa-aamanahum min khawf
Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger).
Surah Quraish is the 106th surah of the Quran with 4 verses. It is a Meccan surah. Below is the full text in Arabic with English translation by Yusuf Ali.
لِإِيلَٰفِ قُرَيۡشٍTransliteration: Li-eelaafi quraish
Translation (Yusuf Ali): For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish,
إِۦلَٰفِهِمۡ رِحۡلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيۡفِTransliteration: Eelaafihim rihlatash shitaaa'i wassaif
Translation (Yusuf Ali): Their covenants (covering) journeys by winter and summer,-
فَلۡيَعۡبُدُواْ رَبَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡبَيۡتِTransliteration: Faly'abudoo rabba haazal-bait
Translation (Yusuf Ali): Let them adore the Lord of this House,
