فَأَرَادُواْ بِهِۦ كَيۡدٗا فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَ
Fa araadoo bihee kaidan faja 'alnaahumul asfaleen
(This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated!
— As-Saffah (ٱلصَّافَّات), 37:98
فَأَرَادُواْ بِهِۦ كَيۡدٗا فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَTransliteration: Fa araadoo bihee kaidan faja 'alnaahumul asfaleen
Translation (Yusuf Ali): (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated!
This is verse 98 of Surah As-Saffah (ٱلصَّافَّات, meaning "Those Ranges in Ranks"), the 37th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 182 total verses.
