Surah An-Nas (ٱلنَّاس) — Mankind
Surah An-Nas is the 114th surah of the Quran with 6 verses. It is a Meccan surah. Below is the full text in Arabic with English translation by Yusuf Ali.
Verse 1 — Surah An-Nas (114:1)
قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ
Transliteration: Qul a'oozu birabbin naas
Translation (Yusuf Ali): Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,
Verse 2 — Surah An-Nas (114:2)
مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ
Transliteration: Malikin naas
Translation (Yusuf Ali): The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,
Verse 3 — Surah An-Nas (114:3)
إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ
Transliteration: Ilaahin naas
Translation (Yusuf Ali): The God (or Judge) of Mankind,-
Verse 4 — Surah An-Nas (114:4)
مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ
Transliteration: Min sharril waswaasil khannaas
Translation (Yusuf Ali): From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),-
Verse 5 — Surah An-Nas (114:5)
ٱلَّذِي يُوَسۡوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ
Transliteration: Allazee yuwaswisu fee sudoorin naas
Translation (Yusuf Ali): (The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,-
Verse 6 — Surah An-Nas (114:6)
مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ
Transliteration: Minal jinnati wannaas
Translation (Yusuf Ali): Among Jinns and among men.
