Quran Verse — Surah An-Najm (53:44)

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحۡيَا

Transliteration: Wa annahoo huwa amaata wa ahyaa

Translation (Yusuf Ali): That it is He Who granteth Death and Life;

This is verse 44 of Surah An-Najm (ٱلنَّجْم, meaning "The Star"), the 53th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 62 total verses.
