Quran Verse — Surah Al-Waqi'ah (56:49)

قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

Transliteration: Qul innal awwaleena wal aakhireen

Translation (Yusuf Ali): Say: "Yea, those of old and those of later times,

This is verse 49 of Surah Al-Waqi'ah (ٱلْوَاقِعَة, meaning "The Event"), the 56th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 96 total verses.
