أَمۡ تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ أَجۡرٗا فَهُم مِّن مَّغۡرَمٖ مُّثۡقَلُونَ
Am tas'aluhum ajran fahum min maghramin musqaloon
Or is it that thou dost ask them for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?-
— Al-Qalam (ٱلْقَلَم), 68:46
أَمۡ تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ أَجۡرٗا فَهُم مِّن مَّغۡرَمٖ مُّثۡقَلُونَTransliteration: Am tas'aluhum ajran fahum min maghramin musqaloon
Translation (Yusuf Ali): Or is it that thou dost ask them for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?-
This is verse 46 of Surah Al-Qalam (ٱلْقَلَم, meaning "The Pen"), the 68th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 52 total verses.
