Quran Verse — Surah Al-Mudaththir (74:45)

وَكُنَّا نَخُوضُ مَعَ ٱلۡخَآئِضِينَ

Transliteration: Wa kunnaa nakhoodu ma'al khaaa'ideen

Translation (Yusuf Ali): "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers;

This is verse 45 of Surah Al-Mudaththir (ٱلْمُدَّثِّر, meaning "The Cloaked"), the 74th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 56 total verses.
