Surah Al-Balad · Verse 3
وَوَالِدٖ وَمَا وَلَدَ
Wa waalidinw wa maa walad
And (the mystic ties of) parent and child;-

Translation (Yusuf Ali): And (the mystic ties of) parent and child;-
This is verse 3 of Surah Al-Balad (ٱلبَلَد, meaning "The City"), the 90th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 20 total verses.
