The Arabic text of Quran 36:38 is: وَٱلشَّمۡسُ تَجۡرِي لِمُسۡتَقَرّٖ لَّهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِ (Transliteration: Wash-shamsu tajree limustaqarril lahaa; zaalika taqdeerul 'Azeezil Aleem)

Surah Ya-Sin, Verse 38

Quran 36:38 from Surah Ya-Sin states: "And the sun runs his course for a period determined for him: that is the decree of (Him), the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing." (Yusuf Ali translation).

Surah Ya-Sin · Verse 38
