وَٱضۡرِبۡ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ إِذۡ جَآءَهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ
Wadrib lahum masalan Ashaabal Qaryatih; iz jaaa'ahal mursaloon
Set forth to them, by way of a parable, the (story of) the Companions of the City. Behold!, there came messengers to it.
— Ya-Sin (يٰسٓ ), 36:13
وَٱضۡرِبۡ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ إِذۡ جَآءَهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَTransliteration: Wadrib lahum masalan Ashaabal Qaryatih; iz jaaa'ahal mursaloon
Translation (Yusuf Ali): Set forth to them, by way of a parable, the (story of) the Companions of the City. Behold!, there came messengers to it.
This is verse 13 of Surah Ya-Sin (يٰسٓ , meaning "Ya-Sin"), the 36th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 83 total verses.
