قَالُواْ لَن نَّبۡرَحَ عَلَيۡهِ عَٰكِفِينَ حَتَّىٰ يَرۡجِعَ إِلَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ
Qaaloo lan nabraha 'alaihi 'aakifeena hattaa yarji'a ilainaa Moosaa
They had said: "We will not abandon this cult, but we will devote ourselves to it until Moses returns to us."
— Ta-Ha (طٰهٰ ), 20:91
قَالُواْ لَن نَّبۡرَحَ عَلَيۡهِ عَٰكِفِينَ حَتَّىٰ يَرۡجِعَ إِلَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰTransliteration: Qaaloo lan nabraha 'alaihi 'aakifeena hattaa yarji'a ilainaa Moosaa
Translation (Yusuf Ali): They had said: "We will not abandon this cult, but we will devote ourselves to it until Moses returns to us."
This is verse 91 of Surah Ta-Ha (طٰهٰ , meaning "Ta-Ha"), the 20th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 135 total verses.
