قَالَ هُمۡ أُوْلَآءِ عَلَىٰٓ أَثَرِي وَعَجِلۡتُ إِلَيۡكَ رَبِّ لِتَرۡضَىٰ
Qaala hum ulaaa'i 'alaaa asaree wa 'ajiltu ilaika Rabbi litardaa
He replied: "Behold, they are close on my footsteps: I hastened to thee, O my Lord, to please thee."
— Ta-Ha (طٰهٰ ), 20:84
قَالَ هُمۡ أُوْلَآءِ عَلَىٰٓ أَثَرِي وَعَجِلۡتُ إِلَيۡكَ رَبِّ لِتَرۡضَىٰTransliteration: Qaala hum ulaaa'i 'alaaa asaree wa 'ajiltu ilaika Rabbi litardaa
Translation (Yusuf Ali): He replied: "Behold, they are close on my footsteps: I hastened to thee, O my Lord, to please thee."
This is verse 84 of Surah Ta-Ha (طٰهٰ , meaning "Ta-Ha"), the 20th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 135 total verses.
