إِذِ ٱلۡأَغۡلَٰلُ فِيٓ أَعۡنَٰقِهِمۡ وَٱلسَّلَٰسِلُ يُسۡحَبُونَ
Izil aghlaalu feee a'naaqi-him wassalaasilu yushaboon
When the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along-
— Ghafar (غَافِر), 40:71
إِذِ ٱلۡأَغۡلَٰلُ فِيٓ أَعۡنَٰقِهِمۡ وَٱلسَّلَٰسِلُ يُسۡحَبُونَTransliteration: Izil aghlaalu feee a'naaqi-him wassalaasilu yushaboon
Translation (Yusuf Ali): When the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along-
This is verse 71 of Surah Ghafar (غَافِر, meaning "The Forgiver"), the 40th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 85 total verses.
