فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ سَلَفٗا وَمَثَلٗا لِّلۡأٓخِرِينَ

Faja'alnaahum salafanw wa masalan lil aakhireen

And We made them (a people) of the Past and an Example to later ages.
