خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطۡفَةٖ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٞ مُّبِينٞ
Khalaqal insaana min nutfatin fa izaa huwa khaseemum mubeen
He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer!
— Al-Nahl (ٱلنَّحْل), 16:4
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطۡفَةٖ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٞ مُّبِينٞTransliteration: Khalaqal insaana min nutfatin fa izaa huwa khaseemum mubeen
Translation (Yusuf Ali): He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer!
This is verse 4 of Surah Al-Nahl (ٱلنَّحْل, meaning "The Bees"), the 16th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 128 total verses.
