قَٰلَ إِن لَّبِثۡتُمۡ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗاۖ لَّوۡ أَنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ
Qaala il labistum illaa qaleelal law annakum kuntum ta'lamoon
He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known!
— Al-Mu'minun (ٱلْمُؤْمِنُون), 23:114
قَٰلَ إِن لَّبِثۡتُمۡ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗاۖ لَّوۡ أَنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَTransliteration: Qaala il labistum illaa qaleelal law annakum kuntum ta'lamoon
Translation (Yusuf Ali): He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known!
This is verse 114 of Surah Al-Mu'minun (ٱلْمُؤْمِنُون, meaning "The Believers"), the 23th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 118 total verses.
