وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
Wa laqad kazzabal lazeena min qablihim fakaifa kaana nakeer
But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)?
— Al-Mulk (ٱلْمُلْك), 67:18

Translation (Yusuf Ali): But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)?
This is verse 18 of Surah Al-Mulk (ٱلْمُلْك, meaning "The Kingdom"), the 67th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 30 total verses.
