ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
Summa akhaztul lazeena kafaroo fakaifa kaana nakeer
In the end did I punish those who rejected Faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)!
— Al-Fatir (فَاطِر), 35:26

Translation (Yusuf Ali): In the end did I punish those who rejected Faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)!
This is verse 26 of Surah Al-Fatir (فَاطِر, meaning "The Originator"), the 35th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 45 total verses.
