لَوۡ كَانَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ءَالِهَةٗ مَّا وَرَدُوهَاۖ وَكُلّٞ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
Law kaana haaa'ulaaa'i aalihatan maa waradoohaa wa kullun feehaa khaalidoon
If these had been gods, they would not have got there! but each one will abide therein.
— Al-Anbiya' (ٱلْأَنْبِيَاء), 21:99
لَوۡ كَانَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ءَالِهَةٗ مَّا وَرَدُوهَاۖ وَكُلّٞ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَTransliteration: Law kaana haaa'ulaaa'i aalihatan maa waradoohaa wa kullun feehaa khaalidoon
Translation (Yusuf Ali): If these had been gods, they would not have got there! but each one will abide therein.
This is verse 99 of Surah Al-Anbiya' (ٱلْأَنْبِيَاء, meaning "The Prophets"), the 21th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 112 total verses.
