وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ ٱلۡفُرۡقَانَ وَضِيَآءٗ وَذِكۡرٗا لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ
Wa laqad aatainaa Moosa wa haaroonal Furqaana wa diyaa'anw wa zikral lilmuttaqeen
In the past We granted to Moses and Aaron the criterion (for judgment), and a Light and a Message for those who would do right,-
— Al-Anbiya' (ٱلْأَنْبِيَاء), 21:48
وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ ٱلۡفُرۡقَانَ وَضِيَآءٗ وَذِكۡرٗا لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَTransliteration: Wa laqad aatainaa Moosa wa haaroonal Furqaana wa diyaa'anw wa zikral lilmuttaqeen
Translation (Yusuf Ali): In the past We granted to Moses and Aaron the criterion (for judgment), and a Light and a Message for those who would do right,-
This is verse 48 of Surah Al-Anbiya' (ٱلْأَنْبِيَاء, meaning "The Prophets"), the 21th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 112 total verses.
