Women
وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ
Wa maa khalaqnas samaaa'a wal arda wa maa bainahumaa laa'ibeen
Not for (idle) sport did We create the heavens and the earth and all that is between!
— Al-Anbiya' (ٱلْأَنْبِيَاء), 21:16
وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَTransliteration: Wa maa khalaqnas samaaa'a wal arda wa maa bainahumaa laa'ibeen
Translation (Yusuf Ali): Not for (idle) sport did We create the heavens and the earth and all that is between!
This is verse 16 of Surah Al-Anbiya' (ٱلْأَنْبِيَاء, meaning "The Prophets"), the 21th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 112 total verses.
