ذُوقُواْ فِتۡنَتَكُمۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ
Zooqoo fitnatakum haa zal lazee kuntum bihee tas ta'jiloon
"Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!"
— Adz-Dzariyah (ٱلذَّارِيَات), 51:14
ذُوقُواْ فِتۡنَتَكُمۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَTransliteration: Zooqoo fitnatakum haa zal lazee kuntum bihee tas ta'jiloon
Translation (Yusuf Ali): "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!"
This is verse 14 of Surah Adz-Dzariyah (ٱلذَّارِيَات, meaning "The Scatterers"), the 51th surah of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah with 60 total verses.
